Jaeger was born from a shared love of gothic horror. Becca wanted to run a horror LARP, Richie wanted to write a horror story, and together those ideas took shape into what would become Jaeger.

As the game developed, the team grew to include Jon, Will, Taliesin, and Sarah—each bringing their own skills and passion for immersive horror. In April 2025, we ran our first event, blending live-action roleplay with techniques inspired by haunted attractions and other immersive horror experiences. We’ve expanded our team even since then!

We then recruited our friends and LARP running experts; Nic, Steph, Dena, Mike and T’Other to join our growing Game Team.

Our goal is simple: to create high-quality horror events that push boundaries, immerse players, and deliver something truly memorable.

Game Team

Game Team are volunteer members of crew who manage all aspects of the game; from booking sites, handling player bookings, refereeing and running the overall game. All members of Game Team are referees.

You can identify a referee by their black tabards with the glow in the dark Jaeger skull logo and reflective trim. They wear radios with ear pieces.

Non Player Characters (NPCs)

Sometimes, members of the team will be in the game playing NPCs (non player characters), their role is to facilitate the game in character and will be dressed like other players. Sometimes, they may be wearing a radio with an ear piece, but not always.

These NPCs are not referees, but they can provide you in character guidance and locate a referee if you cannot find one.

They perform the crucial OC aspects of health and safety, be that managing cars on site, marking areas to avoid in battles and running logistics for events, such as putting out new items for players to find. Sometimes, event team will wear an ear-piece radio.
